The management of a ventilation equipment company consulted us to assess the chances of an upcoming litigation over infringement of their patent by a competitor. In the course of materials research errors in patenting of previous developments were identified, which reduced the chances of success in court to zero. A number of flaws in the management and protection of the company's intellectual property rights were fixed, which allowed us to defend our rights in court and the market segment that we occupied, in part, due to the patents we obtained. Attempts of a competitor to challenge the patents were not successful.
